A story based slightly off Flipnote Hatena, and Vallia, my universe. Originally on Wattpad, and posted on here because :iconfleesveon: said I could use her character. :iconfleesveon: thank you, and enjoy the story, along with anyone else reading!

One year ago, a galaxy was thriving. The Hatena Galaxy was one of the most lovable places to be, where friends welcomed newcomers and there was always someone you could be friends with. Even those with zero talent could find a place to live. Laughter and music echoed throughout the galaxy, as this was the place to truly express yourself. However, love and light mingled with despair and darkness, should you stray into the wrong part of the worlds. But even those who thought they were too lost were not so. Everyone had a reason to live. Life itself was good. The gods controlling at least one being placed their thoughts and expressions into the said beings. They were thousands, even millions of gods. Some times the gods communicated directly. Sometimes they let their beings do the talking. There were more beings than gods, but everyone found something to enjoy. However, soon, it fell into destruction. The beings that kept the gods in check were forced to leave their galaxy, until a more harsh, and challenging home was made. The people fled, and many found temporary homes, where they live to this day. Some possibly have died. Some, are still wandering, waiting for the new galaxy to be created. One by one, the gods power over their beings left, and now all roam free, leaving the gods to their own entertainment. In a new galaxy where many have settled, this is where our story begins.

Sonya, loved to run. She was always on the move, you couldn't keep her still. She reached the end of the ridge she was on, and she jumped off, opening her wings as she did. She was a dragonoid, but not the one you would expect. She could fly and fight like a dragon, but she had the size of a child. She was red, with golden eyes, and a playful, adventurous personality. Well, she couldn't fly yet, but she mastered gliding. Sorta like Spyro. She also could stand up like a human, but preferred to stay on all fours. She had hoped her friend wouldn't be there in time. She wanted some time to herself. In a little more than a month, it would have been the one year anniversary of the loss of the Hatena galaxy. She hated the supreme gods for their banishment from the world.

She, among others that she didn't remember, were the last ones out. She saw the supernova that the supreme gods created. Her heart was never the same that day. She landed on a small ledge, and glided off again, heading for a little grove that only she and her friend knew. However, she miscalculated the glide, and smashed into the bottom of the ledge. She would have fallen, and broken something, had she not caught the edge. To make matters worse, some dirt got in her eyes. Her vision would be blurred for a few minutes. She almost let go, until a paw she knew well grabbed her hand and pulled her up. She saw the familiar white and blue fur of her friend, but that was it. Everything was just a blur besides that. "So you made it?" Sonya said, a little disappointed. "What, you didn't want me to come?" Her friend said, with an almost laughing voice, "If I wasn't here, you probably would have broken a wing, or worse." "Point taken." Sonya said. "Well," her friend said, "I'm not staying. I only wanted to come for a while. Please, don't take the daredevil way down!" "Ok! Ok." Sonya jokingly said. She saw her friend fly off, gliding too, probably to the town.

As soon as her vision came back, she continued towards the grove, As she neared, things seemed a little....odd. For example, her surroundings got somewhat darker. The wind was picking up. As she entered the grove, she couldn't believe her eyes. A portal had opened high above the grove. As she looked closer, a slim figure of a man slowly fell. As soon as he stopped, a crystal, black, fell, and stopped right next to him. It turned, and imbedded itself in the figures heart. And then he fell. Sonya was frozen in horror, and whatever he was, he was going to stay awhile, for the portal had closed.

As the figure fell in the center, the crystal continued to enter him. As the last bit faded out of sight, the man began to change. As Sonya approached, she saw that the man was changing. He shrunk as horns, wings, and claws appeared. His choice of clothing, black everything, slowly turned into his skin color. Blonde hair slowly faded away. He was turning into..... her??? No, Sonya thought, he is male. He had turned into a black male dragonoid. "H-hey," Sonya stutters as she aproached, "are y-you alright?" No answer. She managed to walk towards the unmoving figure. He wasn't going to move soon, it seemed. She checked his pulse. He was alive, so that was ether a good or bad sign. Then she noticed something. He was bleeding. Worried for some reason, she managed to pick him up and to get him to hang over her back, and headed towards her town. She would take him to her home.p

(Later that same day)

Darius woke up, and struggled to get up. He knew he had transformed. He could feel his tail like it was shoved up his butt. He could feel his wings folded up behind him. He reached up, and the wound that was supposed to be p*issing blood was now slightly stitched. He was not in the greatest state, but at least he's alive, It was also his first transformation into a Dragonoid, and a first transformation was never pleasant. In his attempt to get out of the bed he was in, he fell over, and CRASHED right into the ground. He grunted in pain. He knew he was hurt. He looked around the room the best he could, as his mind was spinning. "Ohhhhh....." He groaned. He tried once again to see, and he got the best look he could. It was a normal, plain room. A light green on all sides. The bed was to the side of him. A plain dresser was hugging the wall, but aside from that, there was no other furniture in the room.

Then, he heard the door creek open. He knew staying there would probably be rude, so he tried to get off the ground. He winced in pain as he tried to get up, but it was a no go. He turned to see the person who entered. Instead of a human, like he suspected, he came face-to-face with an unrecognized creature. By its statue, Darius could tell it was a girl. She was furry, cut, kinda small compared to his human form, and with brilliant blue eyes. "Well, it's about time you woke up," she said in a teasing voice, "and it looks like you slept hard." Darius couldn't help but like her, pretty fast too. It's not often one has the coujnes to tease him on the spot. And, he kinda needed a laugh to ignore his injuries. The furry figure laughed, "Sonya?!" she said. "WHAT TRANSI?? I'm really busy!" another voice responded with anger. "Sonya," the one called Transi calmly replied,"he's up."

"Well, get em here!" Sonya replied. Darius did not want to get up. But Transi picked him up anyway. He couldn't stand on his own, but he could help guide Transi's movements. Basically, it looked like Darius was slightly leaning on her, and she had one arm around him, allowing her to support him from the back. They tried to keep this going, but Transi lost her grasp when she bumped into the door frame. Darius tumbled to the ground, but caught himself on the wall. On the second attempt, Darius managed to get on his feet, and barley managed to stay on his feet. Transi still guided him through a nicely decorated hallway. She lost her grip once again, and Darius tumbled down some stairs. "Owwwee!" Darius called as he fell. "Crap," Transi said, "Sorry." "It's ok. Think I can stand up now." Darius replied. He barely managed to get up, when another dragon, Sonya, flew to him, and managed to him to a table. "Um, Sonya? I gotta go home." Transi said. "All right, go." Sonya replied. Transi quickly left, and soon it was just Darius and Sonya.

"Soooooo, want something to eat?" Sonya suggested. "Yeah, that would be nice" Darius managed. "Good, because I had lunch already cooking. Hope you like soup." Sonya said as she flew off. "Can't be worse than the last meal I had." Darius commented. It was only a few minuets before Sonya came back with two bowls of a brown soup. Well, maybe it wasn't a soup, so much as a stew. Whatever it was Darius sure liked it. Although he couldn't take more than a half-spoonful at a time, due to his condition. "So, you aren't a dragon, are you?" Sonya attempted to start,"And please tell me if you want me to stop with the questions." "No, and it's ok!" Darius happily replied, "I mean, I did sorta fall out of the sky. You have questions, and they should be answered." "Ok, so, if you don't mind me asking-" "Don't worry" Darius interrupted. "Why did you fall from the sky?" Sonya keenly asked. "I'm an adventurer, of sorts." Darius replied, "In fact I was on one last night. Then I was...stopped. I plan to continue an-" "An adventure?" Sonya blurted, practically running on the table. "Can I come?!" "N-no!" Darius staggered, "In my adventures, you'd probably die, or, you will kill if you follow me. I lost anything linking to my youth at a young age." "Oh, it can't be that bad. How old are you?" Sonya pressed. "16." Darius replied, " You?" "18..." Sonya quietly replied. "No way you're older than me." Darius said. "Well, 17, but I prefer to be 18." Sonya said softly.

After a long awkward pause, Sonya broke the silence, "Well, how'd you like to stay for a bit. I mean, looks like you're not going anywhere soon." "I guess. Mind if I change back into human form." Darius said. "No problem." Sonya replied. Darius stood up, and put a claw in his chest. His skin around his chest began to ripple as if water as he pushed his hand in. As soon as he pulled it back out, in a flash of light, he regained his human form. He was pretty tall, slightly muscular, and was easy on the eyes. He had blond hair, blue eyes. Also, he had a strange clothing choice. He liked black, that much he could tell. The only thing... off, was his clothing choice. His shirt and pants were a nice black, but his trench-coat that fell right above his shoes... Was dark blue. Yeah, thaaaats a little weird. She still made no comment. "So, where do I sleep?" Darius wondered allowed. "Same room you woke up in. But it's still afternoon!" Sonya said, surprised. "I know. I was just wondering." Darius replied, "And...Sonya, right?" "Yeah." "Thank you."
